A.SHIMUS was launched in 2025 out of a desire to celebrate and empower petite women.
Born from our founder’s own journey as a petite businesswoman (5’2”) who struggled to find clothing that truly fit and flattered, we offer designs that combine professionalism with refined femininity.
Our silhouettes are intelligently cut and proportioned –
designed to flatter without ever compromising on style.

Japanese standard sizing
To perfect the silhouettes of our garments, they’re developed according to Japanese sizing, known for its precise tailoring and alignment with smaller frames.
More specifically, our size S corresponds to a Japanese 9AR, a carefully chosen reference that reflects the proportions of petite women.
While certain measurements – such as sleeve length and bust –
are slightly more compact than the standard US sizing,
A.SHIMUS garments are thoughtfully designed to enhance and flatter.
Additionally, most of our bottoms feature adjustable waistbands for added comfort.
